Pixellator: Mrs. Pix – Sleeping Beauty

This is a totally candid snap in a totally candid moment. It is normal for Mrs. Pix to be nude in our hotel room when we travel; she dresses for dinner or other outside ventures (ok, sometimes not), but in our room … totally naked. Here, we had been out on an excursion and returned to our room hot and tired. She slipped off her dress, leaving herself naked in one motion (no underwear), lay down on the king-sized bed, and almost immediately fell asleep.

It didn’t seem to concern her greatly that our room was on the ground floor with public courtyard exposure and windows on three sides, nor that on this sunny afternoon all our blinds were open. Her powers of nonchalance are sometimes impressive, especially when – as now – she is feeling just too tired to care … too tired even to take off her shoes before falling asleep.

Obviously, documentary photos were necessary. I’m not a fan of “sleeping wife” pics, especially from those who sneak pics without their wives’ approval, but this moment appealed to me and the pic was wife-approved after the fact.

People sometimes ask, so I’ll add that on this occasion I did get naked and lay down with her. I’m not sure how long we napped and I have no idea if anyone happened to notice. But we eventually awakened, and feeling a bit amorous, rested, naked, and already tangled up together, we made love without bothering to adjust the blinds. Quite romantic and carefree, if possibly a bit over-exposed.
